Taber family ball hockey grant

This program was started in 2018 to provide an opportunity for children who otherwise could not afford our program to spend a week at the Academy. We are currently looking for corporations or individuals to sponsor the grant so that we can extend it to more deserving children.

The program is named after Geoff Taber, his wife Jacquie Gardner, and their sons Scott and Andrew, who were devoted members of the local ball hockey community for many years. The family perished in a tragic fire at their cottage 2 years ago, and this program is one of many initiatives that aims to honour the legacy they left.

We are proud to be working with TNO - The Neighbourhood Organization (https://tno-toronto.org/) to find eligible and deserving candidates.
